Every once in a while a job comes along that requires special attention, whether it's an actual restoration or just the special care needed for an historically important building. The Daily Group, Inc. has the capability to handle such jobs successfully. Several of our past projects have been registered with the Florida Historical Society. Below are just a few examples of our expert work.
Our Corporate Offices
The Daily Group, Inc. purchased and renovated a residence built in the early 1900's for use as company offices.
The DeSoto Hotel
The DeSoto Hotel, located in Safety Harbor, was restored for use as lodging and retail stores. Careful restoration and color selection was necessary to enhance the characteristics and setting of the old building.
Virgina Manor
Virginia Manor, built in the early 1900's and on the National Register for Historical Places, overlooks Tampa Bay. The Daily Group, Inc. handled the complete exterior restoration, including color selection and painting.
Ybor Square
Ybor Square, built in 1886, was originally a cigar factory. This building now houses retail shops, restaurants and offices. Restoration involved interior and exterior cleaning and painting.
Lykes Building
Restoration of the Lykes Building in Tampa, built in the early 1900's, exposed a beautiful painted ceiling in the lobby that had been covered for 40 years. The ceiling was completely restored to its original appearance.
